I booked the family suite with 3 beds. Got confirmation for the suite. Got to the hotel on check in day and was told it was not the suite and a king size room instead. Called priceline, they called agoda and everything on their end confirmed it was the family suite I booked. The hotel will not accommodate the suite for us and told us it was fully booked. $580 for a king room is over price plus $75 for parkings. Booked it three months in advance. During the time I booked it was only $360 for the king. Priceline was not helping at all and would bot accommodate to us eventho it was a mess up on their end.

The street corner 5454 hollywood is invested with lots of homeless people. We were scared to walk around especially after dark. Metro/subway is close,yes, but subway has lots of pickpockets, too. I know because we almost got mugged. We were circled by 3 men at around 10pm. I didnt know it dangerous at that time. Hello kitty room is nice. My daughter likes it. The indoor lock is broken. Room is *** (1st floor). It needs to be secured sonce ita a themed room for kids. Bathroom sink has no cover see picture. My daugher’s ring went inside while washing her hands. I had to call reception at 11pm to see if it can be recovered. it was recovered the next day by two nice mexican women. I gave some Euro to them as tip because i do not carry usd. I don’t like this area mainly because of the homesless people around (less on daylight but more at dark). We toll uber/waymo for most of the trip (we dont have a car) and not tried the public transport anymore. Lots of good restaurants and marshall/ralphs but how can you walk around when you are scared? Cheers to *** who helped me on recovering the rong and *** at the reception. The other lady on the checkout day was not nice. Seems she wants to get rid of us. I complained a lot about the location.

This hotel is near shopping places like Ross and Marshall's. A little rundown unless you stay in the newly renovated rooms but location is very good.
