We booked the Dalesman as a base to do some walking.
The room we stayed in was an exceptionally well designed standard and for an old Pub the bedroom was modern Fresh and lovely and spacious the bathroom with big bath large shower and double sink and huge wall mirror and sound system coming out of the mirror over the sinks.
We booked an evening meal and the food was exceptional.
The pub is a free house so the beers were great and the breakfast in the morning didn’t disappoint.
We will definitely come back

The pub character and food was excellent, although my eyes are still watering from £11.95 for a large glass of white wine.
The single room was okay, but ready for a refresh.
Service was great.
Sedbergh is beautiful little place. Would stay again.

No real gripes, I just thought the whole establishment was 'trying too hard'. Service seemed forced rather than geninue. Pehaps just a bad day.
Rooms were very clean and well appointed. Quite expensive.
