    What has happened to what was a few years ago a very friendly hotel. It's now down to booking agency that does not reply to emails, remote check in by phone and key in a box that is opened with a combination lock whose numbers are difficult to see in the poor lighting in the porch. For the same price there was a country pub serving excellent food and modern well fitted bedrooms about 3 miles away in Over Kellet.

    Although the outside could do with some alterations we were pleasantly surprised with how lovely the rooms were. Very clean and comfortable.

    Only ventilation was to open large grd. floor window onto street - no security. Bed not comfortable. Smallest tv available, shower in bath difficult for old people
