Can't knock this place great location for train station, shopping. Local pubs,food and the price was the best around. Clean, polite.. couldn't do enough for me on stay, will definitely book again.

Vary noisy, room no good for tall persons stained hand towel and only one towel for shower. Breakfast including coffee was cold and overcooked.

The hotel meets the majority of needs for most people, central location, cost, very good breakfast and clean bedding. It is an old building therefore it will have some dated aspects throughout which some visitors may not like but these are not things in my opinion that should not affect any reviews.

Holes in room carpet, asked for double bed but ended up with 2 singles. The bathroom in serious need of a refit. Flooring coming up and looked dirty. Lift not working, one of our party had mobility issues and had to climb stairs to her room. Best avoid this hotel.
