We stayed one night to break a long journey and could not fault the whole experience. The room was extremely comfortable and our dinner very good indeed. We ate 3 courses each with good local beer and very decent wine. Our best meal in some months and very reasonably priced.

A very lovely place to stay. Situated on the side of a valley with great views. The rooms have their own entrance straight from the carpark. Nice sized "oldy worldy" rooms with a modern decor and finish. Nice lounge and all of the normal facilities. Lovely bed and duvet. Didn't have a breakfast as we had to be off but had lunch and the meal was one of the best we've had for sometime. We just wished that we could have stayed longer as we didn't get to try all of the fully stocked bar with local ales we haven't tried . I would definitely recommend the Bell in for it's smart and friendly staff and personal attention.

I stayed at The Bell Inn for one night this summer whilst walking the Cotswold Way. My suite of rooms (The Dovecot) was absolutely beautiful - one of the best I have stayed in en-route, immaculately clean, with lovely touches everywhere and exceptionally good value. Because I was booked in on a Monday, the pub & restaurant were closed but the lovely staff ensured I was aware of this before confirmation, and were on hand on the end of the phone and very responsive if I needed anything. Breakfast was offered the following morning and, although I elected not to take it in the end, I understand that the food here has a reputation for being of the highest quality.
