Stayed here when visiting Twycross zoo with our 12 year old granddaughter. Ideal location for the zoo, less than 5 min drive away. Friendly staff, excellent standard of cleanliness, excellent food. Great value for money

Location was great for being on my way to Download Festival, room was large and relatively comfortable, and it had a nice shower room.
However, there was no air-con, making it uncomfortable on a hot summer night. The window could be opened wide, but opened onto a rooftop, so might be a security issue for some, and also had the building's air-con right next to it, so hope you can sleep through the noise.
Also, only 1 of the three room lights worked (shower room was fine) and all 7 plug sockets are on the opposite wall to the beds, so hope you have a long charging cable.
The food was standard pub grub: mostly good, but chicken was a little overcooked.
Staff were great.

Lovey quiet area and very spacious.
Evening meals were large and the included breakfast was good.
