We had a nice experience at Surftides Hotel. The front desk clerk was very accommodating. There was enough parking. Our room was pretty standard but had the modern amenities. My husband was looking for the AC but we were told there was no AC because we had a natural AC which was the sea breeze! We enjoyed our first morning walking along the beach with our 6 year old. Beach access was right below our room so it was very convenient.

We made a prepaid reservation six weeks in advance for a Saturday night, but one of their employees canceled it for a nonsense reason and we did not receive any notice. They accommodated us with a king bed instead of two queen beds and the room has many spots coverd in dust.

Very clean and beautiful view of the ocean had a nice deck over looking ocean, the pool is 9feet totally 😎.hot tub was very good as well.

This is an older property. I definitely give them props because they’re not part of a chain. I get it that times are tough and everything is expensive but I was in a room that was supposed to be two queen beds. It was definitely two full-size beds. They were old. We just sunk down into the bed the table between the two beds. I thought it was going to break and just fall apart it was so loose. The room was painted dark green and I get that that’s probably the cover up old stains and such but it just seemed like it was way too dark. There was bird poop all over outside of the balcony. My daughter attempted to pick up bird poop and eat it and where they told us to go to the room from where we could actually park and get to the room closer was not what the staff said. She told us the way to go, and it was like this round about long way anyway we figured out a shorter way in a different place to park. My son liked the pool. And the front desk lady that I interacted with was very nice.
