While the whole resort was pretty much empty, and I bought not the cheapest room but a detached cabin in what it looked from the photos in the jungle of the Sumberkima hill, I was given a room/bungalow on the most busy intersection private road that leads to the resort from the main road! Until 11pm there were so many workers riding their scooters in and out of the premises, which started again at 6am (motor noise; the one thing i was trying to escape from being in Ubud and traveling by scooter for 4 hours to reach Pemuteran and Sumberkima to rest my ears!!!) The place is so huge that you need a map to coordinate yourself. And coming out from my room at 8am for breakfast, not standing the motor scooter noise any longer, i saw a dead frog outside my room on the private road, and a dead butterfly, a starved dog and very young kids riding scooters. The trees in front of my room were full of pink/fucsia plastic bags to protect the fruits; amazing! but i didn't drive 112km to look at plastic bags!! So sure, it looks great on the photos but didn't get the peace and quiet i was hoping for. Apologies for my truthfulness Sumberkima, but Kesambi 4 should not exist. Maybe you don't rent it out anymore, since you have another 85 rooms!

The food was excellent and fairly priced. The views were lovely. Where we stayed in the cabin, it was far away enough not to be bothered by the prayer calls, but they were audible. It's a ways out of the way from the town, where there aren't many dining options, so it was good that the on site restaurants were so good.

I honestly love this place because it’s so quiet and secluded. However, a few things need to consider before coming here is:
1. location is a bit far up in the hill making the road access kinda challenging
2. villas are separated each other and can be far away from the lobby, pool, and restaurant
3. minimum facilities
4. unattentive staff
5. really close to nature so expect various bugs to come into your room
