Excellent value for money -- kitchen with microwave, stove top and fridge, TV with good reception and a lot of channels, good beds, good wifi and good bathroom. Facilities -- all good except for a few outlets in our room, which did not work Staff -- One of the front desk workers was a bit standoffish and difficult to find at times, but everyone else was great Location -- Depends what you want to do. If your trip is based in the city, then you are a little bit removed (though not much with good roads), but if you want to see not only the city but the bayous, swamps, delta, and lake, then this place is perfect. We were very satisfied with our stay and will stay again.

Staff unprofessional, not in uniform ever, random friends and people hanging in lobbies, some guy with a shotgun with a 20round drum mag in the elevator, babies sleeping in hallways, personal laundry in the machines… this place is wild. My car or truck did not get touched in the parking lot which was nice. The pool will likely never run. Good luck getting any towels .
