Nice Clean facility. No problems. Good location for our purpose. Reasonable price. One comment. Wish there was extra bedding for the pull out couch. And an extra blanket.

I’m writing this review to give a very honest and detailed picture of what to expect here so future guests don’t have surprises. I try to leave detailed reviews after every trip so other travelers know exactly what to expect before they book. Check-in started at 3:00 PM and the front desk staff explained the property rules, where the gym and laundry room were located, and told us if we needed extra paper goods or towels we could grab them from the laundry room. That already felt a little unusual since most hotels handle that through housekeeping or the front desk. We went up to our first room on the second floor and immediately noticed a strong smell when we opened the door. The window had been left open and the carpet had several stains that appeared to be pet-related. Since the hotel allows pets (for a fee), I’m guessing some of those stains came from previous furry guests. Then we discovered the bed situation. I set my bag on the bed and when I sat down my husband noticed the bed frame was leaning. The bolts were loose and the bed didn’t feel stable at all. Between the smell, the stained carpet, and the bed that looked like it might collapse, we decided that room wasn’t going to work. To the hotel’s credit, the front desk staff did move us to another room. The second room was definitely better. It smelled clean and the AC worked great. However, there were still signs of wear and tear. The living room walls had several areas where the paint was chipped or missing, likely from guests moving the chair or pull-out couch around. The king-size bed we booked actually slept fairly well. It wasn’t the most amazing mattress ever, but it was decent enough to get a good night’s sleep. The sheets though… ours had holes in them, which was surprising. If you’re planning to use the pull-out couch as a bed, be warned. The mattress is extremely uncomfortable and it does not come with pillows or a blanket, only sheets. If you plan on using it, make sure to request bedding before the office closes. Polite way to describe the pull-out couch: it’s perfect if you enjoy the nostalgic experience of sleeping on something that feels like a folding lawn chair with springs. We also noticed a few maintenance issues. The toilet seat was very loose, and I ended up tightening it myself so it wouldn’t come off. There was also a door inside the room that leads to the AC unit that appeared to be meant to stay locked, but it wasn’t. Anyone could easily open it, which could definitely be a safety concern if you’re traveling with children. Towels were another adventure. The room didn’t have enough towels for the number of guests we booked and there was no bath mat. Since the front desk had already closed for the evening, we went to the laundry room, which is where we were told extra supplies would be. When we got there there were no bath towels available at all. The only things we found were one set of sheets, a few hand towels, a few washcloths, and about ten rolls of toilet paper. Another surprise was hot water. When we tried to take showers the first night, there was no hot water, only cold water. Now let’s talk about the road noise. This hotel sits right next to the highway and the windows appear to be single pane, which means you hear traffic constantly. If you normally sleep with a white noise machine, you can leave it at home — the highway next to this hotel provides that service for free all night long. There were also some cleanliness concerns. In the bathroom we placed a white towel on the floor so we wouldn’t slip after showering, and when we picked it up it had turned brown, which made it appear the floor may not have been mopped before we arrived. Another thing we noticed around the property was several rooms with blinds open and lights still on that looked like guests had just checked out. From the hallway you could clearly see some of those rooms were a complete mess with trash and belongings everywhere. What was surprising is that
