The hotel is a small walk from the town centre. The picture on agoda is flattering as the hotel fronts onto the main road (which is not busy).
The reception staff were excellent and we were given a very nice quiet room at the back of the hotel at the end of the corridor. The room had rafters, enough space and a nice large shower room. It was immaculately clean.
Rubber flip flops and a swimming cap were required for the pool and spa. These were not provided by the hotel and felt like an additional tax. However, the spa was first class with a nice pool (inside and out) and a variety of steam rooms, saunas, showers, plunge pools and relaxation rooms. Again, everything was immaculately clean.
Breakfast was okay (nothing special), but the waiter had to be asked for coffee, took a long time to respond and was not particularly friendly.
Overall, a very pleasant experience and a hotel I would recommend.
