Walking from Pile Gate into the main street Stradun in Dubrovnik’s Old Town, my accommodation was on a small street on the right. It took about six to seven minutes to walk from Pile Gate to the place. Although the entire path is paved with marble slabs, which made dragging my suitcase a bit tough, it was still manageable and okay.
The accommodation and the restaurant downstairs are both owned by the same owner, so both are called Tezoro. When I checked in, the restaurant staff came over to handle the check-in process. I had to go upstairs via a staircase, but luckily the staff helped carry my suitcase upstairs to the room. Inside the room there was a notice clearly stating this is not a hotel but private accommodation, so there is no daily housekeeping. Dining at their restaurant comes with a 20% discount.
This accommodation was perfect for me — no steep slopes or steps, located right on Stradun. It’s less than a minute’s walk to get out to the main street Stradun, and about five or six minutes to Old Port. The supermarket is just across the street within a minute or two. If I got tired while out and about, I could easily go back to rest in my room and then head out again. Even at 11 PM when I returned, the street was still lively and crowded, which I liked. It’s very suitable for me as a solo woman traveller and gave me a strong sense of safety.
The restaurant opens early and closes late. Although I didn’t interact much with the staff during my stay, it felt reassuring to know that if anything happened, I could immediately find someone at the restaurant, which added to the sense of security.
I also went kayaking at the seaside behind. I wore my swimsuit going there and coming back because it only took about seven to eight minutes to get back to the room, which was extremely convenient. I really liked it.

There's no elevator, so be prepared to lugg your suitcases upstairs. The staff is very curt and won't entertain any additional requests.

Location is inside the old city wall. Near the port going to lukrom island and Cable Car. Tesoro Restaurant infront and it’s giving a discount to those staying at Rooms Tezoro😊Nice food also.

Good Stay!
The location was excellent, with easy access to all major attractions, everything was walking distance.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the rooms was good. The hot water in the bathroom was consistently available. Overall, we highly recommend this property for its value for money, great location, cleanliness, and friendly staff.
But do remember since it is at very centre you might hear some street noise at night
