It is a aged hotel within the airport. If you need to get an early flight or have a long connection, this is a good option. But do not expect much, just the basics (i.e. room has no window) Breakfast is really good.

What a surprise! The photos don't do it justice at all! The restaurant was so lovely, and the bathrooms especially looked brand new. Every staff member - especially in the restaurant - were just lovely. It was such a surprise to have such a great hotel right at the airport! What a relief when my flight was cancelled!

Rio rush hour traffic is a nightmare, so avoiding the taxi or shuttle ride in the morning is best avoided by staying at the airport.
The staff has always been great and very helpful. This location is the best choice if you have an early departure from GIG and need a room nearby. It is located in Terminal 1, so you will need to walk about 10 minutes to Terminal 2 or take the hotel van service. They offer a nice breakfast buffet and the restaurant offers lunch and dinner if you don't want to head over to Terminal 2 for their restaurants and food court. If arriving by Uber or 99, they will most likely try to drop you at Terminal 2. where you will need to wait for the hotel van or walk to Terminal 1. If you ask that Uber or 99 drop you at Terminal 1 on level 1, (not 0 or 2) it will speed up your arrival. Enter and turn right going pass the passport offices and take the elevator to level 3 for the hotel.

After a long flight from Portugal to Brazil, a short six hour stay, you want a nice bed and a hot shower before your connecting flight. And when you wake up at 4:45 in the morning and turn on the shower and there is no hot water. How would you feel??? That’s it, I have requested a refund as this is unacceptable, and what made worse was when I complained the receptionist laughed and said I should have called. No, they should maintain their rooms in good conditions. Frustrating!!!
