Overall an OK place to stay, but it's on the busiest corner near the train station (plus) which makes it very noisy at night (minus). There is no reception and check in emails with instructions is in French only, which is not ideal for international guests and could easily be improved. overall check in process was very convoluted which is not what you need after a long day travelling. Comfy beds though.

The fact that there is no receptionist made a big difference. Most (younger) people may find it easy once you get the codes, etc. I had hard time. In the night coming back from dinner there was a guy in the street shouting and following me. I had to run towards a bus stop nearby with some people, to avoid him. This would not have happened at Cornavin hotel or other nearby with a proper receptionist. I would justify this system if it were half price of the other hotels but it was only slightly cheaper. The toilet inside the shower is another story. Overall I was very disappointed. This system is made to optimise profit but not thinking on the well being of the costumer. On the positive side, it was clean and the help from some humans following me in the inside camera was efficient. But getting there was by chance since someone came out of the building and left me in and knew the telephone number of the owner. Random luck.
