The room was extremely clean, with new amenities in the bedroom and bathroom. The pool and hot tub were also working well and very clean. To top it all off, we were greeted by very friendly staff during check in. The short walk to the beach also made the location very memorable.

The town of Ocean Shore doesn't offer many options. Of those available, the Quinault Beach Resort & Casino was the best available. When we first arrived, the receptionist could not locate our reservation until we explained we had booked through Agoda...which earned us a sneer and a murmured comment about "third party websites." The property looked worn, as did the majority of the guests. Our room was comfortable and all the amenities worked. What we hoped would be a nice walk to the beach turned out to be somewhat of an adventure through overgrown paths and across precariously place 2x4 boards over muddy ditches. We chose to avoid spending any more money than necessary at the property and avoided the restaurant and casino. This was the first casino-adjacent property I've visited where they do not offer a "free game" or "free chips" to entice you into the casino. Overall, the property was a rundown disappointment filled with patrons, many of whom looked like they were taking a night off from sleeping in their cars. I'd stay there again if there were a door directly into my room from the outside.
