Stayed in Room *** - like others I perused reviews to determine which hotel was the best bang for my buck - I had a 10 year old so def needed a hotel with a pool and with my husband so needed a continental breakfast as well - a fridge, 2 beds and coffee maker were also on the must haves - ummmm...
Positives - room spacious - had a couch, 2 beds, 2 seater table, shower had plenty of hot water (I could not take a cool/cold shower even though I tried), had the little soaps with shampoo and lotions on a wall dispenser, pool was a decent size and had a little gazebo sitting, two Adirondack style chairs outside each room, Dollar General is next door and Sonic is next door to that - Beach was within minutes (driving) - Get the $12 parking pass, good for a year- you need it to park on the beach or receive a $500 fine
Negatives:
Spots of mold through out ENTIRE hotel room, rusty shower, bed is on some sort of metal platform which sounds every time you roll, wanted 1st floor so didn't have to carry items up stairs- there is a like 4-5 step up to the rooms, it's loud - from people walking above or around or arguing or smoking weed - you can hear it all!
Overall take - if you go to visit the beach you should only really be in your room to sleep and shower so suitable for those needs
Advice to complex: have a separate golf cart parking lot (like in grass) or if they did rent golf carts, park their car in the grass (IYKYK #AmiRite)

I love staying here with my family during the fall/winter months, especially if it's chilly outside as they have a heated pool and jacuzzi (clean). The premises are well-kept, the staff is friendly, rooms clean, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is okay. We will continue to return as we have for many years.

Clean and well-equipped rooms. Staff was friendly. However, the bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress was very hard.
