The room was super clean, quiet, and perfectly sized for a solo traveler - enough space to move around and lay out my suitcase comfortably. Bed was a bit springy but still perfectly fine for a good night’s sleep. I actually slept really well and barely heard any noise, even though I was sure I wasn’t the only guest there!
Check-in was a little different — you approach the bar area and someone brings you up to your room — but it worked smoothly. They had requested ID verification ahead of time, so the whole process was quick and easy when I arrived. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
The location is excellent — literally steps away from Manchester Piccadilly Station. Pro tip for first-timers: if you go down one level from the train exit, you just cross the road and you're at the hotel. Super convenient once you figure it out!
WiFi was strong, coffee and tea provided in the room, and the communal bathrooms were kept very clean. Toiletries were also provided. The TV was huge, although the mirror inside the room was tiny and placed quite high above the sink — but not a dealbreaker at all.
A really thoughtful touch: they even left a little box of earplugs on my pillow like a mini treat, which I actually never even had to use — it was that quiet!
As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe — I’d give it a full 10/10 for solo travel comfort. There’s no lift so you do need to carry your bags up the stairs, but that was manageable.
Getting to/from Co-op Live was easy — I used Uber (around £4) to get there, and took the tram back which stops directly at Piccadilly. Very safe even late at night.
For the price and location, this was 100% worth it and I would happily stay again for future concert trips.

The staff are really welcoming, helpful and joyful. The room is clean and comfortable. The amenities such as shampoo and bottles of water are provided. The hotel is close to the Manchester Piccadilly Station. Great location!
