Hotel still seems to be dated even though they have done some refurb. Dinner in the hotel was not a great experience - took a long time for service (but wasn’t busy!). Food was fine when it did arrive. Wrong wine arrived, bottle open and poured without showing us - unfortunately it was not what we selected. It then took ages for this to be sorted by which time we had finished our starters. The hotel did give us a discount, but it was the experience that was not good. Similar experience with breakfast.
