Overleaf Lodge and Spa

I loved my patio. A bunny came by a couple of times. The view is gorgeous. The room was very clean. We enjoyed getting to select from complimentary DVDs. The breakfast was good. We loved the soak, sauna and steam. NOTE: they expect full payment of the room upon arrival BEFORE checking in (not just a credit card hold or authorization) so if your friend arrives ahead of you, they’ll expect payment from them before they’ll allow them to check in. This was annoying because it was a birthday gift for my friend. Even though my credit card was on file and holding the room reservation, they refused to charge it since I wasn’t there yet in person. They wouldn’t even take my payment over the phone either when I asked them to so my friend could check in. So they charged my friend the full amount until I arrived and insisted they refund her and charge my card instead. This is a weird policy because I’m pretty sure if we had no showed or canceled late, they’d charge my card on file or over the phone without hesitation despite not being there. They also didn’t get my message I sent the night before check-in through Agoda about my friend arriving before me. In fact they’d never even heard of Agoda. So if that’s the app you’re using to book your reservation, make sure to reach out to them directly with messages rather than through the app.
