Reception is apparently open at 3:30pm.Arrived after a 22klm walk from Trevi in 38 degree heat!At 3:50 pm still no sign of anyone!Decided to phone the number on the door,and as I walk talking,the receptionist arrived in her red car!
She then proceeded to abuse me verbally for calling the number!
Obviously caught out!!!Then she could not find the keys to open the door!!!The most terrible way to be met,with no apology but abuse!!!
Room was fine but No Aircon and still 36 degrees at 8pm.
The breakfast lady was equally unfriendly and was outside smoking most of the time!!!
There is no reception most of the time and on checking out an equally unfriendly man on the counter!!!
This is my worst experience in a hotel in Italy.Walking the Camino de Sanfrancesco is a spiritual experience but spoilt by rude and unfriendly staff!I am sure you can find nicer people to work here or at least tell your staff to smile!
