Komotini doesn’t really have many hotel options. This hotel is reasonably comfortable, the room was spacious, and there was hot water. The staff are friendly. However, it does look a bit dated, which means it has a kind of old world charm but also that the carpet could probably be replaced. And a kettle to make coffee with would have been nice.
It’s right on the main street, just across from the old market area. Town landmarks are easily walkable - though I note that much fewer of them are open for visiting or even marked on Google Maps, than is listed on the tourism website.
All in all it was pleasant enough.
