I’ve stayed here a handful of times and every time has been great . If I had to choose one thing to address its would be that 2out of the 7 times I stayed there the house keepers opened the entry door to my room without any warning of any kind (while I was showering with the bathroom door wide open my two service dogs alerted me of an intruder so I yelled out hey who just opened the front door and it was quickly closed without response to my question. I always lock the dead Bolton on my entry door for safety reasons and lo and behold the deadblolt was unlocked ! And yes this happened twice ! Lol

We stayed here for graduation weekend at a room with 3 beds(2 bedroom) for 5 adults. We had room 228 and for what we needed, it was great. The room was quiet and overlooking the creek and the motel is close to the campus and downtown. If you need the convenience of staying close to campus and some space to spread out, then this is for you. The downside is that it is a dated motel, e.g. paint chipping, lights in the bathroom not all working, frig is over icing etc. If these things bother you, then this might not be the place for you. For us, the location was the key because it was so close to my son's campus apartment and a roughly 20 minute walk to campus(to the stadium for graduation). It is also walkable to downtown esp nice if you are doing the morning graduation ritual that grads partake in with their families. The room was also more spacious then just 1 room with 3 beds. The two bedrooms with a small kitchenette/living area gave us some space which was nice. The microwave is nice to heat some leftovers. We did not try the breakfast so do not know anything about that. We brought our own since we knew we had a couple of burners, a frig, a small sink and a microwave. If you bring your own milk frother and coffee maker e.g. like a Bialetti you can make some good coffee. Note: no kitchen utensils or supplies provided.
