I had a long flight delay that made me have to spend the night in CDG. I looked for convenient hotels since I would leave early morning. This was the most reasonably priced so I booked it.
Come to find out at check in, there is a mandetory 300€ fee in case of smoking, CDG Hotel Tax, and a 7€ shuttle fee to get back to the airport. All of these added up to be 4x my actual room rate! I could have just stayed at the Sheraton on airport property.
Even so, the room is ok. It was clean but it is a weird set up. The glass in the bathroom right next to the bed. The room itself is very very simple, which again was okay.
Shuttle runs every 30min but it is a 6 passenger van so if you cannot fit, you wait. They drop you off at the pickup location so unless you are travelling at 2B/D it is a mighty long walk.
The Nomad hotel shares the van and the building so if it is cheaper, stay there. The surprising fees turned me off, if I was not exhausted from my travels I would have stayed elsewhere.
