This was the worst motel six stay I have ever had in my life. I have stayed at not only this location before but many other motel sixes and this has to be the most inconsiderate and rude service I have ever received. I understand that if my arrival time changed, and I got here early, that is no one else’s problem, but my own, But for their motto being that they leave the light on, they did exactly the opposite and turn the light off and kick us out. We had arrived a good amount of hours early due to flight. I was willing to pay an early check in fee or even a day prior of the rate or I was hoping to maybe get a discounted rate as the day prior was over. I walked in with my one year-old and fiancé head around five in the morning. I am aware that early check-in is usually not until 11 AM, although I am trying to explain to the front desk worker that my phone died. I need to plug it in to turn on the phone to get the reservation number. It will not take long And also that I understand it is ridiculously early and I am willing to pay to figure out the room situation. This front desk worker tells me it does not matter. He doesn’t have a room for me, not that they are booked, but that he cannot check me in this early because I already have a booking and It Can’t be early check in for me until at least 11 AM. Then he proceeds to tell me I cannot stay in the lobby and I can only be in there for 10 minutes and I need to leave mind you. I am with my one year-old child and it is for almost 5 in the morning And it is pretty cold outside. I explained to him that I do not have anywhere to go. nothing else is open my phone is dead. I don’t understand why there is no exception of where I can’t wait in the lobby at least for a small amount of time until something is open for me to go to, even though I have all of my luggage Along with my one year-old child. This man let me charge my phone for the remaining four minutes, comes back and says we need to leave and I ask him if it has even been 10 minutes because. It definitely did not feel like 10 minutes. He rudely says it’s been more than that you need to leave. I just say OK whatever and get my things and leave me my one year-old child and my fiancé take all of our belongings and walk elsewhere in the freezing cold it’s foggy Dewey the blankets we had on the Baby. We’re getting wet due to the fog and dew. We are all freezing. I forgot to mention that he didn’t just say that we cannot stay in the lobby. He said we cannot be on the property at all and that is why we left. The only reason I did not leave and stay somewhere else was because my phone was dead. I had nowhere to charge. It has nothing was open yet at that point we are all exhausted semi wet freezing so we go back at 12 PM. Almost to continue with our check-in, hoping that someone else can help us a little bit more. We get back and there is a different worker, a woman and she is now telling us that She cannot check me until 3 PM 2 PM the earliest and if I want to check in right now I will have to pay 40 extra dollars. I tell her this is pretty ridiculous that the worker prior just told me and my infant child and my fiancé to leave the property in the cold with nowhere to go And now if I want somewhere to stay two hours earlier, I have to pay 40 extra dollars. Mind you, I was not unwilling to pay this when I first got here along with more as I understood. It was way early for any check-in at this point I just want to cry. My baby has been crying. He’s hungry Cold tired we all are and this motel six staff was just treating us like dirt like we weren’t people, and like they didn’t care at all I almost forgot their motto was that they leave the light on because there was not only no light in these peoples own lives, There was definitely no lights on at this Motel 6. I have not received a refund or compensation due to the hotel having the right to do this, but I just think it is completely unjust to treat a paying guest and a willingly pay
