The staff keep changing the rules. When i complained about it , the manager said that the previous rules were not valid since it was said by an intern. Well how could i know about this “intern or not intern” things? Then i had to pay more because of it. Room also quite old w/ very strong smell of old building.

Excellent in all ways. Has been my home away from home in LA since Covid took over our consciousness. I have stayed here maybe 15 16 time in those four years. Will stay here again

-No offer to help me with my luggage. No carts either. Old elevator so a cart probably wouldn’t fit. -Common areas pumped with a strong perfume-y 90s fragrance but you can smell the dated building under it. -Gate from the parking lot doesn’t work with your room key so you walk all the way back around the building (not ideal for a single woman at night). -My room smelled of strong bleach when I arrived 12 hours ago and still hasn’t gone away. -The toilet seat was wet and with hair on it. -The heater in my room isn’t working well so I had to crank it up - it’s so loud it wakes me through the night. -The tv is just basic cable plus hbo and remote doesn’t work for the guide so you just flip a channel at a time through 80 channels and try to memorize the ones you’re likely to enjoy. -I just woke up to find that the alarm clock is actually set for an hour and 39 minutes later than the real time. I am in town for an early meeting today. Good thing I used my cell phone alarm clock. -They said the pool is heated but when I went down last night, it was cold. -The front desk said they will charge $30 resort fees each day. That was already paid through agoda.com. I showed him the receipt so he won’t charge me now- but be aware that you need to look at that when you check in. -They’re charging $50/day for parking. There was nothing on the site or my reservation regarding this. I did pay “tax & fees” on agoda that were pricey and wondering if parking was paid through that? I’ll look into it. -The bathroom lighting is terrible and impossible to get ready in. There’s coffee in the mornings downstairs and wine in the afternoon. We’ll see if that’s any good. Otherwise I appreciate the simple decor albeit sort of cheap looking. Bed is comfortable. Last time I was in town I stayed at the Beverly Hills Plaza Hotel & Spa. I very much prefer it to the Mosaic. And they’re similar in price.
