Clean and basic hut in rural setting overlooking the fields and rice terraces. Friendly staff. Simple food options (quite limited in terms of breakfast) available from small on-site restaurant.
Points to note/ things to consider: cold water shower only (and weak pressure), nowhere to hang clothes, steep steps to reach room, room is above /beside the road; it’s not in the main village of Sidemen, so you will likely want to hire a scooter (available across the road but at a price); rural setting and simple construction, therefore strong likelihood of small animal visitors in room and rooster alarm call; weak WiFi; limited daily water (two tiny bottles) and was charged extra by the owner for the water I requested when the only staff member was on a day off.
