Great location close to Schoenegga cablecar station. Small boutique hotel with exceptionally attentive staff. Busy during season but never feels cramped.

We slept well here. Breakfast was good too. Location is convenient as we are about 5-8mins walk to almost everywhere!

We stayed in room #1, which is on the ground floor. No view to speak of , but the vegetables patch of the hotel next door. What made up for the lack of view was the room size. The room was very spacious. I think that it was designed to be handicap friendly. The bathroom was the same way, big with open floor plan no door and it was level with the test of the bedroom so wheelchair can just roll in. The hotel was either newly built or or newly renovated, everything was modern and had the simple elegance. Hotel location was good. It was at the long end of the street from the train station closer to the river and the quaint old part of the town. Zermatt was not big, so not a problem. The BF was excellent. During our stay the male host was out sick so there was only one lady, Melany, holding the fort and cooking, but she did it all with skill. Melany’s omelettes were delicious. There are cold cuts spread, fruit, cereal and yogurt as well. Good selections. We always had great bf to start our days trekking up the peaks and explore. Special shout out to out to Melany who worked tirelessly and always pleasant.
