This was our final stay of a 2x week trip to Croatia. We had our last night here, before an early morning flight home to Australia. We thought we'd saved the best to last when we saw the room. It's a bit out of Trogir, but the view was lovely and the room was so spacious. Around 6pm that night, we were enjoying a drink on the balcony when the guests in the apartment next to us started to blast their music. We ended up staying inside, as the music was so loud. This then proceeded for the next 8 hours until after 2am. The music got louder and louder until eventually the walls of our apartment were shaking. When we did try to call reception after the noise curfew, no one answered. Eventually my partner got out of bed and walked the 250m to reception, only for it to be unattended for the night. One of the restaurant staff came back with him, to tell them to turn the music down, but they ignored the request. We had a nightclub next to us, with what sounded like more than 10 intoxicated men in the room, and didn't get a minute of sleep that night. To make matters worse, between songs, it sounded like they were watching porn at the same volume (so we were relieved we didn't have children with us to hear it). When we complained the next morning, the lady at the desk couldn't understand us so nothing was done. To say we were incredibly disappointed, tired and frustrated is an understatement. We really expected to receive a refund from the organisation as it was the worst night we had while away. We can't fault the rooms themself, but would never stay here again given the terrible experience we had.
