Fantastic overall. Service in dining area was fabulous. Great breakfast selection. Waitress at breakfast was fantastic managed guests well. There is nothing we didn't like. Would highly recommend

Large room, with spacious bathroom area was fine. Breakfast tasty, but understaffed, despite not that many guests. Overall, very good value with lovely grounds and use of pool facilities a nice bonus. We’d stay again.

We were completely wowed by the location as we drove into the grounds of the traditional, old, manor type building. The building is really lovely, grounds are just lovely, spa, although costly, is there which is a plus point, (we didn't get time to use it)....
We gave 2 stars for the facilities as the rooms lacked many features which could make this room so much better facilities wise.
There are no plugs near the bed, only very old 'round pin' sockets for lamps - cannot be used for chargers etc.
No charging points with usb/c port chargers.
No air conditioning in the main halls or rooms - was very hard especially as we were there when it was 30 degrees.
Although there are tea & coffee facilities, there is not a designated spot for the kettle with a plug. We had to bring the kettle out, unplug other items, then plug in the kettle.
'Our' rooms layout made the room look busy and the tv looked very out of place.
It is vital especially to have usable electric sockets near the bed if not charging points.
The lack of the above made things very very awkward. Adding these would make ones stay so much more easier and comfortable.
Thank goodness fans were available which did allow us to sleep when it was so hot.
