I try to be a very honest, reasonable and fair person as it relates to any travel reviews. That last thing I want to do is hurt a business. However, this hotel was such a disappointment. Please think twice before staying here:
1. The roof leaks very badly. Not just a couple drops; like 2-3 inches of water on the floor (every night) throughout the room. When we asked the staff for help with this we were told not to use a portion of our room. They would clean it daily but the water would leak right back in. This caused the room to smell of mildew, feel super humid and created breathing issues. I'm not a dramatic person but this water on the floor was very bad. The staff kept giving us the runaround about the water. Even if the leaks are fixed, the amount of lasting water damage to the rooms are going to be huge.
2. We only got one roll of toilet paper for 5 days. When we asked for another on day 3, we were given a half used roll and told that's all they have
3. Every night the hot water would be nonexistent. And if we were lucky enough to get hot water; the water would randomly completely shut off. So we would either have to take cold showers or need to wait until the morning for water.
Staying here is a mistake. To be fair the location is good and the hotel had a lot of potential but it's extremely rundown and not taken care of and will take a lot to get it back to a safe and comfortable option for travelers.

Firstly it’s difficult for me to rate this property given the circumstances of our check in and events since. We were escorted up a rickety slanted staircase complete with our luggage…not easy. At this point I enquired where’s the garden as we’ve booked a Suite opening onto a garden. We were informed that the booking had been cancelled by the booking agency…incorrect as I had a confirmation by AGODA of a ground floor garden suite. Eventually we were shown to a room downstairs opening onto the garden. The account was paid in full. The next day, Sunday, we were informed by email that the room was programmed for repairs and fumigation, however we were assured that a superior ‘beautiful loft’ just up the road would be at our disposal. The ‘beautiful loft’ was the size of a matchbox where even swinging a cat wasn’t possible. The double bed was accessed up a ladder…positively great for a gent nearing eighty with mobility issues! NO. We chose to remain in the accommodation we had reserved and paid for. I will leave it up to potential travellers to rate the treatment we received. If you don’t speak Spanish, my advice…go somewhere else.
