We arrived at 1.30 pm. A note on the door stated that the receptionist would return at 3 pm. To pass the time, we sat and ate in the next door hotel, which was managed by the same group. Someone from the second hotel opened the door to the driveway of our hotel and allowed us to leave our lyggage there, which was appreciated!
After our lunch, we finally got to checkin and enter our room, which was spacious and charming! It was one of the biggest rooms we have stayed in all our trips to France.
Unfortunately, there was no hot water. We reported the problem. The hotel staff tried to fix it but it didn't work. We wsre offered two other rooms. We checked both. One also had no hot water. The other did but it was on a higher floor. We decided to stay in our room as it was the coziest. The next day, when there was still no water, the friendly receptionist allowed us to shower in the upper room for the remainder of our stay which was a welcome and appreciated compromise.
Overall, we were very comfortable there and will return given the chance!
