Les Suites de l’Ile Barbe is truly a hidden gem in Lyon! Although it’s just 15–18 minutes from the heart of the Old Town, it feels like you’ve been transported to a small, exclusive island retreat. The home itself is beautifully maintained, offering a spacious living area with breathtaking views of the surrounding nature — a perfect balance of comfort and tranquility.
The bed was comfortable. The only small suggestion we would make is regarding the curtains in the bedroom, as they do not fully block out the light we personally prefer sleeping in the dark.
Our host was wonderful, warmly welcoming us and thoughtfully helping with our luggage without even being asked. His hospitality truly made our stay even more special.
We highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone visiting Lyon. Given another chance, we would not hesitate to stay at this beautiful home again!
