I first stayed in single room, not too bad, on the ground floor so I could hear every train! There were also loud noises in the early mornings, kitchen activities maybe. I upgraded to double room on higher floor and the noises disappeared. The staff was very helpful, especially Roma, she lent me a kettle when I asked for hot water (only coffees machine in the room) and shown me all the available rooms when I asked for upgrade, she and other staff helped me with the luggage without my asking because there are steps to the reception. This location is great, 2 minutes walking to main train station, save money for the taxi, just ask for higher floors then train noises are not a problem. Many shops, restaurants around, did not see a German one though, Turkish seems to be the prominent feature here, the Chinese restaurant round the corner has great food, but not the prawns, just frozen and tasteless. Thank you to all the staff for your attentiveness, pity I didn't see you again before I left, Roma, would have loved to give you a tip and say goodbye, all the best. Will come again if I return to Munich.

Booked to stay from 13-16 dec, we were supposed to reach on 13th evening but due to unforeseen circumstances we reached the hotel on 14th dec 9am. We were told they were overbooked and they will try to get a room for us. Thought it was absurd as the room was already booked for 13 Dec. After we got the room, the receptionist told us the room is located on 7th floor but the lift only operates till the 6th floor. Which means we have to lug our suitcase up another storey. Asked the gentleman if he was joking to which he said “come on you guys are young, you can do this”. We felt so annoyed with that comment, as we had travelled for the last 27hrs. Breakfast is basic, everyday is the same menu. Room is spacious, however the bed is not comfortable. Our toilet light was flickering and we informed the receptionist, they said they will change it. But after a long day out we came back to the same flickering light. Housekeeping- Towels were changed but the beds were not made up. Overall it wasnt a very pleasant stay.
