I had booked a family room.The hotel location location is amazing with good parking facility.The room was very spacious with a double bed and 2 single beds in a adjoining room

Old style hotel in the process of updating. Staff were excellent, Reception explained and helpful with parking. Tv problem was sorted in ten minutes. Value for money, 5 mins walk to beach, Great restaurant next door Oeuf cafe. Will definitely stay again

I’m not too hard to please. Clean room, no damage, comfortable bed, hot water, quiet room.
I received none of these things at this hotel.
The staff are very personable and warm. But that’s where the good stops.
The only way I can describe this hotel is that it is akin to a squat from the 70s. The fittings and fixtures are in a state of disrepair, the bathroom was dirty, the carpets were dirty, no hot water, terrible bedding, and the double bed was 2 single beds put together.
During the night, you hear every movement in the hotel - there is 0 sound proofing. The tv is the smallest I’ve seen in a room and only plays one channel reliably.
It was hot and stuffy, and opening a window did nothing except bring in more noise.
I went for this hotel because it was an actually expensive - over *** per night. It id paid 50 I wouldn’t have cared, but at over ***, you’d expect at least the bare minimum.
Agoda are terrible to complain to and have not offered any compensation. This says as much about this company as the hotel.
If it’s too good to be true, it probably is.
