Nice room and facilities within included a shower cubicle. Sadly the room sink water heater did not work and the separate shared toilet down the corridor was a negative aspect to a very comfortable stay. Car parking was non existent except council facilities at an additional cost some distance away. Meals in the sister hotel next door were excellent with attentive staff.

We had a very nice stay here. The location is excellent and even though it was over a pub we weren't too disturbed by noises from below. The room was comfortable and they left some water bottles and little snacks for us along with tea and coffee. We had our own bathroom so that was nice. We would recommend this place for your next stay in Portsmouth if you want to be near all the activities.

Paid 83 pounds for an overnight stay, then it became half the price on the same day booking.
Lady Hamilton's reception and breakfast area is at Keppel's head. The receptionist is kind enough to offer to hold my bag instead of doing an early check-in which is 10 pounds an hour.
What is nice about this inn is that it is infront of the bus station. I checked-in around 9PM after coming from Isle of Wight and at that time I had to pass through a crowded pub to get to my room. I did not left afterwards as I do not want to see drunk people.
Upon entering my room I notice how dusty it is. Even the wall has several marks on it. The fan and cups are also unclean, I took a photo for proof.
No tooth brush, tooth paste and slippers provided. A small bar soap, body and shampoo gel are available. Kettle, 2 bottled water, tea, milk, coffee, and sugar packets are provided.
When I woke up in the morning, I find my self lost as to where to get out, as the bar is closes. I had to go out using the door at the back. The breakfast give you an option for a continental or cooked meals. The breakfast is delicious.
