Honestly, one of the worst places I have ever stayed. And I have stayed in some absolute s*** holes over the years. The room in which we stayed, room 5, was riddled in black mould and damp in the top right hand corner of the room by the window. The decor, a drab grey, makes the room, uninviting. It's just an awful choice. The heating system in the room didn't work at all. it was freezing throughout our entire two day stay. The electric heater provided was damaged and dangerous to use. The kitchen facilities, were more often than not, dirty. The kettle produced an awful foul smell, was broken, and contained what looked like burnt human waste stuck to the heating element.The floor and sheets were likewise dirty. The electricity tended to switch off every now and then, though thankfully I found the consumer box outside the door. When I tried to find someone to help, I was was informed "I don't speak English!" A useful skill to have working in hospitality, in a country with English as it's first language. However, saying this, once I contacted the hotelier via WhatsApp, within an hour, a brand new kettle was brought to our room along with a brand new heater. However, this heater is woefully inadequate for the room, certainly during cold spells. Not to mention extremely noisy.
Speaking of noise, certainly not a great place to sleep and rest as you can hear everyone coming in and out of the building. You will most certainly hear other guests banging their suitcases down the stairs in the early hours of the morning.
Good things, are its location to local facilities, Hyde park, Bayswater tube, and if you like Banksy, there's a new piece literally 30ft from the hotel. Self-Checking was nice and easy, and like I said, once you're able to contact the hoteliers via WhatsApp, they are friendly and amenable. The price per night was reasonable, however there are hostels in the local area which are far more comfortable for a lot less.
Overall, I think this place has potential but they are way off par for me to recommend anyone stay here. Certainly on the lower floors.

Very close to subway. Location good with many places to eat. Supermarket around the area. Studio apartment comes with a microwave and kettle.
Can't ask for more with the money I pay.
