The water is extremely dirty and gross, do not drink it and the toilet is stained and smells. The flush doesn't work properly. The shower pressure is so low and the aim of the water is so high that you have to hold it all the time. The interior is dated. The balcony is on full view of the resort and people coming in and out. You can hear the people in rooms next door. I am very disappointed from other people's reviews, my expectations were high and it's not great. The staff aren't particularly friendly and everything has to be paid in cash, including the 500 baht deposit for the room key. The cleaning staff don't clean, they just change the sheets and towels - after 3 days a sweep is needed.

The place was really good. Quiet location, neat and large rooms. The staff was welcoming and gelped us with everything. For divers, the location is very close to some dive clubs.

We stayed as an older couple and non divers. Our room was spacious and the bed comfortable with a balcony looking on to the beach and away from the crowded Main Street.
The village of Ao Chalok and the surrounding area is choked with young people on motorbikes, not easy to walk anywhere for us.
Some chairs and table on the balcony would be good.
