Came here for a night for work. Amazing building - beautiful interiors - great restaurant/bar! Everything was top notch! Loved the clean and well equipped rooms, the exposed brick, the cool common spaces and overall architectural beauty!

This is my second time staying here and there will be a third in the near future! Each checkin was quick and easy and rooms were ready. This recent trip I got an upgrade and loved the extra amenities. Can't wait to be back.

This is a beautiful hotel, with very nice staff, a solid mix of facilities and amenities, a unique historic Sacramento vibe, in a building with an interesting backstory. I stayed for five nights, and when I checked in I was told my room was upgraded from a king to a larger room with two queens and a kitchenette. The hotel was very busy with other guests, so I imagine it's best practice to turn over those king rooms more quickly. However, my upgraded room was now in the back of the building, and my window faced the parking lot of two very busy night clubs--late, loud, and boisterous venues with heavy bass and whooping patrons. I had earplugs with me so I was able to block out most of it and sleep. And my room, while very clean, was also rather spartan, with whole blank white walls, a SINGLE lamp (between the beds), and a desk with built-in outlets that were not connected to any electrical source, and no visible outlets were near the desk--this complicated my ability to work on my old laptop at the desk. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom had a spacious and practical layout, and other necessities (closet, drawers, linens, etc.) were all great. Overall, I really like the hotel and would stay there again, but I didn't love everything about my room.
