Booked Hotel Zeus which is a 3 star hotel but given a room at Villa Diomede a 2 stars villa which located about 10 minutes walk away from the hotel. Doesn’t make sense to me as it’s a different property. It looked nothing like the photos that have been advertised. How would they expect the guests to walk 10 minutes just to catch the breakfast. Other guests checked in the same time as me was given a room in Hotel Zeus itself. Felt scammed and think they should just advertise Villa Diomede separately rather than saying they are the same under Hotel Zeus.

We arrived in august and the room had about 15 mosquitoes which we smacked before sleeping.
Breakfast was reasonable and the reception most helptful.
Entrance to pompei is 100 metres from the hotel, and you can park near reception altho their property is spread out over various buildings and our was near a railway track, so a little noisy altho the train stops midnight to 7am. Perfect for seeing pompei
