First stop on our trip was to Grachen/Zermatt. Zermatt is beautiful but more pricy. 15 min by bus or car you get to Zermatt. Grachen is smaller and it seems more festive. The hotel is directly located in the town square surrounded by restaurants, bars, and a ski resort. Rooms are cozy and comfortable, and breakfast is usually included and a massive selection. Ask your waiter for the type of eggs you want and hot milk for hot chocolate. In the evening the restaurant is full with great food. Typical swiss prices. Loved our 2 night/3 day stay here!
