We love the Hotel Voltaire. The location is excellent and we really like that it is a typically "French" hotel with a balcony on the square. My only concern is I think it would be good to know the check in procedure ahead of arrival time because there isn't a front desk with staff. When making a reservation, that information would be great to know. Good value and everything you want is close - love Arles - stayed many times.

It is a small hotel with only 9 rooms - meaning every room has a cute little balcony overlooking the square below. The rooms are simple yet functional, with a comfortable bed and great wifi. We loved the yellow tiling in the bathroom! We stayed in May and didn't find it at all noisy at night, and the location is honestly perfect - 8-10 mins walk to the train station, but 5 minutes to the Roman amphitheatre and the town centre.

It would have been nice to know staff is only there from 15h to 17h. It didn't matter much to us, but there isn't any tv or on-sight breakfast. Good aspects - great balcony, easy to find location, and good wifi.
