We were in town for a wedding and lucky enough to get a room at the Hotel Sussie. My Italian is not the best but this hotel is clearly international and our hotel staff were unforgettable especially the family runned husband and wife managed team. Their daughter was also ve try helpful and the entire family made us feel so at home.✨✨✨We felt comfortable immediately and our room was perfect. Even though we didn’t have a view we didn’t feel as if we lost anything. The location of this hotel was perfect as it’s right in the water and promanade and literal steps from Lake Como’s waters. The ferry ⛴️ to other towns are also steps away. The hot offered breakfast and meals alfresco on their balcony with reservations, no reservation to eat inside. It was amazing and the rumors are true! Not all hotels have air conditioning for various reasons including preserving the building and the antique windows, furniture and fixtures etc. Luckily our hotel Sussie was fully upgraded/updated in our room and the Airconditioning worked perfectly fine. Other friends staying elsewhere were complaining that they paid more money for their hotel rooms and had no AC. Another reason we loved our Hotel Sussie was because it had the best food on the pormanade! Folks who stayed in other hotels with restaurants made reservations to eat at the hotel Sussie restaurant because the food/wine and service were great! I will be staying at the hotel Sussie again of this I am sure. The hotel
Manager called a car service and made arrangements for us to be picked up and dropped off at the airport as Uber is not a thing in Bellagio Lake Como. Best decision we made! We were comfortable and safe and although we got to have the experience of public transportation coming, going home after all the shopping we did, we knew we needed a car. And the car service they offered us was top notch and worth every euro 💶. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hotel Sussie was wonderful!
