Staff were excellent and went the extra mile for me. Breakfast was also really good for a 2-star hotel. Location has the best of everything - super close to the station while also being a short walk to the heart of the old city. Charming but definitely one of those hotels where it's just a place to crash at the end of the day since there's not much to it.

The hotel is only a 10 mins walk and you can walk to the main tourist attractions about 15 mins. The staff are very friendly and the room is nicely equipped with an air-conditioning n towel heater.

The hotel is a good location- 15 min walk to major attractions and 15 mins walk to the central station. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. Breakfast is also decent.

Definitely, not worth the cost of the room. Numerous problems with this hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was basic and clean. However, we requested car parking information and were told by email that car parking was onsite at the hotel. This is completely false. Car parking is an underground car park 500 meters away accessed by electronic card....which you then have to return to the hotel after check out. The hotel is a family run hotel who run the hotel on a extreme penny pinching basis. For example....you are limited to 2 small cups of cappuccino at breakfast. The hotel has actually placed a small notice on every breakfast table stating that you will be charged 3€ per cup if you want a third cappuccino with your breakfast! Two nights out of three, we returned to our room after being out all day, to find that staff had turned off the main electric switch in our room, meaning we had no lighting in the room and worse still the air conditioning was off. This was in 34C heat making the room far too warm to sleep comfortably. The main electric switch does not even have a indicator light, so we had to fumble around in the dark with the light from our cellphone trying to find the switch to restore power to the room. What kind of hotel does not even have a room access light on in the room for night time access and turns off the air conditioning in hot and humid summer heat? This hotel is completely lacking in any of the standard customer care items that one generally gets in most hotels....even down to a lack of bathroom toiletries and glasses/containers to put your toothbrush/toothpaste in. Cannot recommend this hotel and at the price we were charged for a room it is a complete rip off.
