    The location was excellent, the room was nice, finding the parking spot underground was a bit of a challenge. Breakfast was adequate.

    The hotel was very closed to old port, and you can walk there through the mall next to the hotel. The mall has 2 supermarket and you can get souvenir for your family and friends easily. It’s only 10-13 minutes walk from st Charles train station and it took us Euro 20 to get there with luggages. Opposite to the hotel you can find plenty of kebab and Turkish shops, and we overall feel safe to live in the area, though it’s during Olympic period.

    We stayed for 6 nights. The room is spacious for 2 and the location is about 8 mins walk to Old Port. Cleanliness - terrible. Mob webs in closet, visible dirt and bread crumbs on carpet, towels worn and reeked. The worst is the toilet. Horrible smell leaks out whenever you flush. The hotel is quite old so I guess the staff is not trained to a higher standard on cleaning. Breakfast is fantastic. Parking is safe. It's connected to the mall and there is a specific gated area for the hotel. Go to the reception and ask for instructions on reaching the parking lot and the zone that is restricted for guests. Safety - walks to the west you feel safe. To the east - take your chance as it changed from France to nonstop smell of urine and poop. Just an area that you see lots of guys wander around doing nothing. Not recommended.
