No parking available, no fridge, no safe, no tea or coffee fa ilities, cold shower, wife had shower at 8am and by 9,30 a m, there was no hot water. The hotel was very noisy, there was a chicken shop under our window which opened at 10am and was still open all night until around 2am, unable to sleep with the noise, the breakfast was very limited and food was very sparse, left feeling hungry, very disappointed, whole stay was unpleasant and I wouldn't stay again,

This little hotel is located across the road from the SNCF station for Caen, adjacent to the tram stop. It is excellent for accessing the city or the train, however, the actual neighborhood is a touch seedy. The room was very clean and nicely put together, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were great. The breakfast was also a reasonable value, with standard French breakfast fare and an automated espresso machine. The biggest drawback was due to the neighborhood - our room faced the street, which meant opening the window and allowing the constant noise and smoke in was not an option. Unfortunately, without an opening window, there is no air circulation in the room making it quite stuffy. It was an okay stop for a night, but I would request a room opposite the station where possible.

After we got into bed, a lot of insects came out and started biting our arms. It was unbearable, so we had to change to another hotel before midnight. The experience was a nightmare—we couldn’t sleep at all just thinking about those insects.
