When I planned my trip to Florence, I wanted a place close to the city center, and Le Due Fontane Hotel checked all the boxes. The room was cleaned every day, and I have to applaud the cleaning lady for her great work. Every evening when I returned to my room, I had a pleasant feeling.
The breakfast was good—not just the basic cornetto and cappuccino like in some of my other Italian adventures. Plus, the gentleman serving breakfast made the best cappuccino, which was a great way to start the day. The staff was very friendly and always at our service. A big thank you to them!
I definitely recommend this hotel. If I have the opportunity to visit Florence again, I would choose the same place.

The place was located in the older quarter. The hotel is very old, the breakfast coffee and juices tasted terrible like old rusted water. The pastries was okay. We got breakfast outside 2/3 days. There are stores and restaurants near by. Room air conditioning barely work, its old version unlike my friend’s room. I had to take cold showers to keep cool and close the bathroom door so the AC can “cool” just the bedroom. The staff were friendly and accommodating much as they could and spoke decent english, was able to communicate.

An awesome location, simple rooms but great overlooking the square. Staff were great, breakfast also very good with only hassle being parking and access difficult and our car was scratched by the parking company.

Internet did not work, tv did not work, and complimentary water only 1st day, then you have to buy, breakfast had nothing boiled eggs , bread and some fruits, reminded me cadet school breakfast. The rooms are dark as the building has no sides open and whenever the rooms are dark a bit of smell is always there. However location is good everything on walking distance
