We were checked in by a man looking like a chef wearing disposable gloves. Our garbage can had a handful of wet cigarette butts and toilet paper was almost out.
The room attendant who was sent up to take care of the garbage came barging in without knocking, she was very angry and I could not make eye contact with her. She came back with the garbage can and again did not knock on the door but used the code to come in.
I did not dare to mention the lack of toilet paper but just got a roll from the open storage room!
This room was recently renovated but not sure what year! Curtains were just dangling and the shelf in the shower was very rusty.
Everything outside and around the
hotel needs a whole lot of loving.
I should mention the reception area reeked of smoke, overall not worth the money spent.
Will not be back, would rather pay for a taxi to the next town.

as aulum has not too many options "it is what it is" - The hotel knows that too ! Very average service and property for the price ! No elevator ! Small breakfast spread. Staff at breakfast looked at me like i was an outsider though was staying at the hotel - She could have just asked but stood there till i had no option but to clarify that i was staying here ! During check out there was 1 man at the reception who said he does not know how to speak english !
