For Humberside Airport a superbly located, five minutes walk or less, comfortable, relaxed hotel and with enough facilities. The only disappointment occurred when I went to bed and drew back the quilt. The flat sheet was badly 'fitted'. It had a bias to one side and the bottom. This meant that when I pulled back the quilt the pillows were actually sat on the bare mattress and revealing a central blood stain on the mattress which could actually be seen through the sheet. As I did not want to sleep on this I approached Reception. Here there were no issues. I was immediately offered the last room in the Hotel. However having to take up half an hour plus reporting and changing my room when I was staying at the hotel because I had a 06:10 flight was gauling. I was surprised that there was no mattress cover and that the flat sheets seemed too small for the mattress. Though the blood stain was only a little bit bigger than a 1p piece it was also off putting and I am sure that the ill-fitting sheet would have meant that I would have been sleeping with my head on the bare mattress. As previously stated, had it not been for this problem I found this an excellent hotel and if I take it that the problem was an aboration I can still thoroughly recommend it.

Beds were very springy, not comfortable. Queued for breakfast items only for minimal to be put out again and taken immediately due to queues after 8:30am but it runs until 10am Messy dining area, cleanup of dirty tables not done even by checkout time both days we stayed, meaning we sat at dirty tables waiting for a wedding bus pickup. In the middle of nowhere, would only be good for staying at the airport, if for another event elsewhere, would not recommend, taxis impossible to get and quotes over £40 for a 1.2 mile journey when 1 is available, or use the airport transfer for the same journey for £42! Overpriced for the stay unfortunately, not very satisfied. Mentioned this to one of the night staff who just stared blankly.
