I asked if they could turn the heating on and they just said they will do at some point today I don't think that's good enough so I ended up one night even though I booked to which is ridiculous

A colleague of mine met me at this hotel but we had about 20 minutes to pass before going to meet others for dinner. Unfortunately, I suggested we just wait and chat in my room. When the receptionist saw us approaching the room she ran out from behind the reception crying “where you go?, where you go?” I explained we just wanted to wait 20 minutes in the room before going out to meet other colleagues for dinner. However, to our shock, she started screaming “you in room go, not he go, no guest in room go!” I’m not sure what she was afraid of or why she didn’t just politely say that she couldn’t leave me bring someone to my room due to the hotel rules. However, she chose to scream at me, completely unnecessary overreaction.
