    I am glad that this hostel is very attentive to my requests which I booked in advance of 2 months. As a senior citizen I do not have strong legs to climb up the top bunk bed, so I request for the lower one. Twice I checked in, twice they arranged for me to have it. On the last day I checked out and needed a luggage storage for a short time without having to pay for a locker, the staff helped to tag and brought it to the office. This is very professional of him knowing I just need about an hour. I would still recommend this hostel for the budget conscious.

    This very large hostel has no kitchen, only bar restaurant for your buffet breakfast @ 95 kr for a limited spread and a la carte menu. So if are not eating the breakfast, you have no place to cook your own food nor make your own sandwich with coffee/tea. Incidentally, the 2-star Wake Up Hotel opposite serves buffet breakfast at the same price with more variety. You don't have to be a hotel guest to eat the breakfast. So if you want a good spread of breakfast, you have another option. This hostel attracts school trip holiday makers. Once these check in, it becomes peak. Some kids are rowdy at night and we could hear them frolicking, running outside the corridor. My 6-bed dorm toilet smells of urine. I suspect the brush and brush stand are not washed. The housekeeping staff may not be able to cope with peak periods. The toilet is small and shower room both are sensor lit. Once time is up, you have to wave in the air or open the door or shower curtain and close again to light the room. The hostel does not supply bath towel, hair dryer, anything essential. There is no wardrobe nor cabinet but a chest cabinet underneath your bed. You need to bring your own padlock or buy from them!! That said, if your aim is to keep cost low, then this is the place. Look no further.
